About Apertur Studio
What is Apertur Studio?
Apertur Studio is software for photographers and small studios. You handle everything from the first enquiry to the last album: clients and contact moments, quotes, planning, photo shoots, online albums and invoices, in one place.
Who is it for?
For freelance photographers and small studios, whether you do portraits, corporate photography, headshots on location, events or food and product shoots.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Apertur Studio works in the browser, on your laptop and tablet.
Pricing and storage
What does Apertur Studio cost?
€29.95 per month including VAT (€24.75 excluding 21% VAT). That includes all features and 5 GB of storage for your albums, photos and documents.
What if I need more storage?
Then you extend your storage whenever you like. You can switch at any time; the difference is settled.
Switching and working
Can I bring my clients over?
Yes. You import your clients from Excel or CSV. The starter kit with VAT rates, units, payment terms, quote texts, terms and email templates is ready for you.
Does it work with Capture One and Lightroom?
Yes. When shooting tethered you click on whoever or whatever is up next in the live queue; the name is then on your clipboard. Capture One uses it through the Clipboard token in the naming, in Lightroom you paste it into Shot Name. Folder Watch uploads your exports and puts every photo with the right person or dish by file name.
Can my clients pay online?
Yes. Your client pays through your own Mollie account, or scans the QR code on the invoice. The payment shows up in the app by itself.
Can I work with my clients in English?
Yes. Quotes, emails, the client portal and reports are available in Dutch and English, with one email template for both languages. The app itself also works in both languages.
Can I work together with an employee or my accountant?
Yes. You give an employee or your accountant exactly the access they need, with fixed roles.
Are my invoices compliant?
Apertur Studio supports e-invoices for business clients, reverse-charge VAT within the EU and the Dutch small business scheme, so your invoice is right without the arithmetic.
Data
Where is my data stored?
Every studio has its own, private studio workspace. Your clients, quotes, albums and invoices are only visible to you and the people you give access to.
What does the AI do with my texts?
The AI makes a first draft, for example a draft quote or a product description. You read along, adjust and decide. Nothing goes to your client without you having seen it.
